What we do

  • Our work focuses on integrating existing buildings within new masterplans and regeneration proposals innovatively and resourcefully. Responding to our current needs and challenges, we support the creation of adaptable urban structures, either by integrating existing ones or by building new ones for the future.
  • When it comes to listed buildings, we can provide specialist input in building history and on relevant repair works and methodologies.
  • We can also help you get greater clarity on the significance of your listed property, by a more precise listing description through Historic England’s Enhanced Advisory Services.
  • Throughout the process, we work with other specialists to achieve the deliverables on site, including advice during construction/ implementation if required. We enjoy getting our hands dirty and work directly with craftspersons across the heritage industry.
  • Our appeal work entails detailed written representation and/or attendance at informal hearing or public inquiry as key witness.
  • Additionally, we are experienced in the production of Conservation Area Character Appraisals, Area Assessments and Characterisation Studies and have written these both on the behalf of Councils and third sector organisations.
